Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) has strengthened its board with four new appointments.
The organisation, which owns and manages more than 7,000 homes across Cumbria and the North of England, has welcomed Helen Forsyth, Amber Hill, Erica Morriss and David Williams to its board.
The new additions will work alongside the current experienced board members to help drive an exciting new vision for the organisation, as it nears the end of its current corporate strategy.

“Our search to bolster the skills on our board, following the retirement of some highly experienced members, was national in scope, and attracted a lot of interest from exceptional candidates. Chris McDonald, the chief executive of Teesside-based Materials Processing Institute, has been appointed chair of an independent advisory body to a new Foundation Industries network.
The Transforming Foundation Industries (TFI) Network+ was recently awarded £2m by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council to improve the sustainability of the metals, glass, ceramics, paper, cement, and bulk chemicals sectors.
Its goal is to develop a strategic approach to address common challenges and accelerate the development and adoption of new technologies and business models.

Mr McDonald said: “I’m keen to work alongside the management team to help create a sense of identity and community in the foundation industries to promote our mutual goal of achieving sustainable long-term manufacturing. Only by drawing on the available skills and knowledge from across the business and research communities can we address the common challenges facing the Foundation Industries.”
Newcastle listed residential landlord Grainger Plc has appointed Robert Hudson as its next chief financial officer.
Mr Hudson is currently chief finance and operations Officer of St. Modwen Properties plc and from April 2020 was the interim chief executive, relinquishing this role when the new CEO joined in November. He has over 26 years’ experience in finance and real estate having worked with British Land Co plc, Experian plc and PwC.
He will join Grainger as an executive director on the PLC board later this year.

Newcastle PR agency JAC Media has made five new appointments as it looks to expand its reach.
JAC Media, which has moved from the Ouseburn Valley to larger premises at Baltic 39 in the city centre, has welcomed the arrival of content marketing specialist Dominic Tarn, as head of content; Joe Roberts, as marketing and PR officer and Newcastle University interns Sam Harris and Jasmine Smith.

It has also struck up a collaboration with social media agency Creative Fox which will see its CEO, Kevin Crulley, overseeing a string of campaigns for JAC Media.

County Durham-based Seaward Electronic Ltd is setting its sights on further market growth with the appointment of a new chief executive.
North East born Chris Callan takes up the new role after building a career in the electronics industry working with businesses around the 海角视频 and in the US.
Since graduating as an electronics and software engineer at Newcastle University, Mr Callan has gained widespread experience in business development, product management and executive roles in the medical, automotive and telecoms markets.

Tyneside shipping and marine insurer North P&I Club has expanded its team with a raft of new appointments.
Twenty positions have been created at the Newcastle headquartered firm within the last six months, with the most recent arrivals being freight, demurrage and defense (FD&D) solicitors Jenna Keir and Faye Thompson, and actuary Laura Stopford.
The recruitment wave forms part of North’s strategic vision to grow and diversify its team of maritime experts.
