Bradley Hall has appointed chartered building surveyor Alastair Adams as director of its Gosforth office. With over 15 years of experience in running local property services, Mr Adams joins the office to bolster growth for Bradley Hall’s residential property sales, lettings, building surveying and mortgage services across Newcastle and surrounding areas.

He said: “Since joining Bradley Hall nearly two years ago, I have supported hundreds of clients with residential building surveys and I am pleased to be able to take that expertise, and my experience as director of an estate agency previously, to drive the growth of our Gosforth office.

“The office sits on a prominent location on the high street and has a fantastic database of clients, with exciting properties coming to market regularly. Our new pre-listing building survey and mortgages offer both compliment our first-class estate agency service, providing a seamless and high-quality service for our clients.

“This is a really exciting opportunity, and I look forward to working with the fantastic team we have in Gosforth to boost our presence across Gosforth, Jesmond, Newcastle and the coast.”

Experienced solicitor Phoebe Gogarty has joined Muckle LLP’s employment team. Ms Gogarty qualified in 2021 and has experience of advising and representing both businesses and individuals across all stages of employment.

After completing her MLaw exempting degree at Northumbria University, Ms Gogarty returned home to Yorkshire and trained at a regional law firm before moving back to the North East.

She said: “I already had a taste for the North East after attending university here. When I returned to Yorkshire after graduating, I knew I wanted to settle down and build my career in the North East, so moving back up further North just felt right.

“I’ve always enjoyed employment law because you get to deal with real people. There’s a human side to it and no two days are ever the same. It keeps you on your toes – whether it’s helping someone through a tricky situation or staying on top of constant changes in legislation, there’s always something new to learn. That’s what makes it so interesting.”
