County Durham-based modular housing manufacturer CoreHaus has promoted Dan Selby to managing director to drive its continued growth and expansion.
Mr Selby originally joined the company as operations manager in 2020 and was instrumental in setting up the production facility at Jade Park, in Murton, near Seaham.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of managing director at CoreHaus. It’s been a pleasure to head up operations for the company over the last two years and be directly involved in everything from launching the factory and building the team to developing the product and securing our first commercial projects. I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundations we have in place and driving this next phase of growth.”

Castle Building Services has appointed Martin Smith as senior mechanical estimator and Brian Carr as senior quantity surveyor.
Mr Smith will work with pre-construction manager Richard Flynn and estimating director Barry Beck, while Mr Carr will report into commercial manager, Andrew Heron.
Castle Building Services operates across the 海角视频 and the appointments follow a raft of new starters during 2022. Managing director Andrew Dawson said: “We welcome Martin and Brian to the team. Robson Laidler Accountants in Newcastle and Durham has promoted Jack Spoor as a new associate director.
Mr Spoor has worked at the firm since he qualified in 2015 as a chartered certified accountant. Starting his career in Robson Laidler’s audit and assurance team, he then developed and grew business advisory services at the firm, in particular research and development, cashflow mapping and business coaching.

As an accredited Mindshop business coach Mr Spoor will continue to head up the firm’s advisory department. He said: said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed director at Robson Laidler. Kate Garrett and Megan Bradley have started a two-year training programme at Hay & Kilner as its latest trainee solicitors. They will work alongside practitioners in different departments within the Newcastle-headquartered firm, to give them a sound general grounding in the law.
Ms Braley studied law at Durham University before taking a Master’s degree in Legal Practice at Northumbria University. Ms Garrett took a Law degree at the University of Liverpool, which included a semester spent studying at a Chinese university, before going on to take a Legal Practice Course qualification at the University of Law in Manchester.
Jonathan Waters, managing partner at Hay & Kilner, who joined the firm as a trainee himself, said: “Many members of our senior team have built successful careers at the firm after joining as trainees, and both Kate and Megan have the potential and opportunity to follow in their footsteps.”
Newcastle-based outsourced people services company Jackson Hogg has made some changes in its international IT team with three key promotions.
Focussed on the Nordics and wider Europe markets, Joe Ezzard has been promoted to head of Europe for permanent appointments, whilst US-focussed recruiters Ben Wright and Andy Farrell have been promoted to vice presidents of business applications and business applications, cloud and blockchain.
Director of international IT Graydon Winter said: “The International IT team has grown rapidly since its in 2019. We’re making some big moves in the Europe and USA markets and Joe, Ben and Andy have been instrumental to the performance of the International IT team.”
