Newcastle’s O.agency has promoted its senior management team, with the appointment of a new managing director and two associate directors.
Kirsty Ramsey has been appointed managing director, with founder Kari Owers moving to the role of CEO and co-owner Robin Owers as director of finance and operations.
Fran Ratliff moves from her head of client services role to associate director of the corporate client team and is joined by former creative director Lauren Regan as associate director of the consumer team.

Founder Kari Owers said: “Our management team was very newly formed just before the pandemic and have been instrumental in supporting us as we navigated through 2020 to go on to achieve growth again in 2021, hiring ten new people in recent months.

Accountancy and business advisory firm Robson Laidler has made a number of appointments and promotions to support its ambitious growth plans.

The firm, which has offices in Jesmond, Newcastle and Chester le Street, has appointed Katy Hill, as head of business support, who has experience in managing both admin and board level teams and as well as coaching the staff she has worked with.
Trevor Smith joins the tax advisory team as a tax consultant straight from his role as tax inspector at HMRC, Jack Boke joins the healthcare team as healthcare junior and Sam Oliver has been promoted to senior client manager in the business innovation team, where he supports a portfolio of over 700 clients.

Wallsend sales and marketing specialist durhamlane has promoted Jake Spence from chief operations officer to managing director.
Mr Spence’s appointment comes as the firm plans to scale up after growing in turnover to £5m and increasing its team by 40%.

Hebburn-based Castle Building Services has promoted Andrew Dawson to managing director.
With the firm for 12 years, he steps up to the new role after seven years as the company’s commercial and financial director. He takes over from David Harland, who becomes executive director.

The last two years has seen many businesses, including ourselves, in unchartered territories due to the pandemic and the focus now is very much on stability and sustained growth.
