Commercial law firm Muckle LLP has appointed seven new trainee solicitors, taking its current total to 10.

All the trainees are undertaking their solicitor training at Muckle, where they will spend six months in different practice areas, including corporate finance, commercial, property, employment, dispute resolution, banking and construction.

The trainees include Carla Boaks, Craig Harvey, Daniel Montana, Eaden Hardcastle, Jaxson Hind, Georgia Sproat, Kieron O鈥橠onoghue, Olivia Tindle, Gillian Scribbins, Rachel Templeman.

Elanders 海角视频 has appointed Martin Ellison as head of business development.

Mr Ellison, who joins the North Shields firm from Cirrus Research, will head up the 海角视频 business development team with a focus on growing the firm鈥檚 supply chain footprint within the fashion and lifestyle and consumer goods sectors.

Independent real estate consultancy Hollis has welcomed James Dixon to its Newcastle office.

Mr Dixon joins the Ouseburn office as an associate supporting the building surveying team. Mr Dixon is a chartered surveyor with 15 years鈥 experience in the commercial property sector.

Ecommerce software company Salesfire has appointed six new directors.

Five of the six appointments are internal promotions within the company. Charlie Gibson has been promoted to chief operating officer, Josh McGregor is now chief marketing officer, Elliot Lings has been promoted to chief technology officer, James Lees has been promoted to chief customer officer and Stephen Honor is now chief information officer.

Martin Walker joins the Middlesbrough company as chief sales officer from a sales director role at Visualsoft.

Newcastle鈥檚 O Agency has welcomed back Caroline Campbell, who re-joins the agency as sustainability lead.

Ms Campbell joins O after six years of leading the PR and marketing for a Bristol-headquartered international environmental consultancy.

In her new role, she will play a key part in developing the agency鈥檚 own long term sustainability strategy, while supporting clients interested in taking their first steps towards adopting more sustainable business models.
