Archers Law in Stockton has welcomed eight new recruits bringing the total number of team members to 75.
The firm has also made tep promotions, including Oliver Hebdon and Laura Dale who are promoted to associate solicitors, while a business administration apprentice has been offered a full-time position following completion of their course.
Chris Todd, Archers managing partner, said: “It’s great to be able to expand the team in a range of areas, particularly the central support team as this enables the business to grow across the board.
“Whilst Covid has been hard for a lot of people, we had an increase in instruction across a number of areas and many new clients needing legal advice.
“It’s great to be back in the office so new team members can train with colleagues, though remote recruitment over the past year has also worked really well having brought 12 new team members on board since the start of the pandemic.”

The firm is also recruiting four other positions within the team; a commercial property solicitor, and a corporate and commercial solicitor to manage demand in these areas, plus two legal secretaries.
Barclays Wealth Management has appointed Richard Clark as director in the North of England.

Mr Clark, a chartered wealth manager, has been promoted to join two existing directors covering Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester offices.
The trio will continue to offer wealth management, wealth planning, banking and credit services and report in to Kat Johnson who took over as the head of North for Barclays Wealth in January.
Mr Clark, who has has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, said: “I’m excited to have been promoted in the Northern team as we continue with our growth ambitions. Before joining Barclays he was a manager at Bond Dickinson, where he spent over ten years specialising in wealth management and financial advice.
Big Four accountant PwC has announced the appointment of a new deals director and the recruitment of three new members to the team.
Kate Campbell has been promoted to director and is joined by Michael Ince and Matt Brindley in corporate finance, and Dan Burton who joins the transaction services team.

Commercial Maintenance Services 海角视频 Limited (CMS) has appointed Kevin Ridley as technical manager to lead its team operating throughout Scotland.
He joins the company having spent 18 years at South Tyneside Homes, where he progressed from heating engineer to team leader and later manager, responsible for ensuring maintenance works on its extensive housing stock were completed correctly and on time.

The team, which covers an area stretching from Stranraer in the south to Wick in the far north, recently expanded from eight to 11 in-house engineers and apprentices. It is currently recruiting a further two engineers.
A North East electrical test and measurement company has announced several key appointments.
Seaward has seen 17 new people join in the last two months in various production, logistics, design engineering, customer service, operations and purchasing roles as it gears-up activities at its Peterlee head office and manufacturing facility.
A new engineering manager has also been appointed to oversee product development and quality assurance.
With an office also in Tampa, Florida, Seaward currently employs around 170 people and is a market leading manufacturer of electronic test and measurement instruments used in a wide variety of electrical, medical, industrial and energy sector applications.
The company is investing further in its workforce to secure capacity to meet the demand for products and services over the last six months and drive it forward as domestic and international markets expand.

Digital marketing and social media management agency Curtis Gabriel has been joined by Lee Coates who has taken the role as head of creative content.
Mr Coates joins the Gosforth firm, which now has clients in the US, Australia, UAE and across Europe, having worked previously for Urban Surfer in Peterlee and most recently, Evolved Search in Newcastle.
He has previously worked on accounts for leading high street brands and international car companies and will be adding his expertise to the already strong team at Curtis Gabriel.
He said: “I was massively impressed with what Curtis Gabriel was doing, the variety of clients and their plans for growth. So I was very excited to get the opportunity to become part of the team.”
Lee will be working across a number of the sectors Curtis Gabriel specialise in, which includes hospitality, technology and transport, along with supporting activity for numerous new accounts.
Curtis Gabriel now has more than 50 staff and has offices in Newcastle, Leeds, London and New York.
