A corporate finance specialist at Newcastle-based Ryecroft Glenton Corporate Finance (RGCF) has been promoted to corporate finance director, a year after joining the firm.
Rhiannon Nightingale joined RGCF as corporate finance senior manager in April 2020 to support the growing demand for its specialist CF services.
Prior to joining RGCF, she worked at Newcastle-based Mayborn Group, a global branded baby and toddler product company, where she was strategic partnerships and acquisitions lead.
Since her move to RGCF, Ms Nightingale’s transaction highlights include advising on the management buy-out of education technology specialist eQuality Solutions Group; the management buy-in of market-leading port handling and logistics company JST Services (Scotland) Ltd; and the sale of telecommunications specialist Nice Network Ltd to LDC-backed, Onecom.
She said: “I’m hugely excited to be taking the next step in my career with RGCF. The strength of the CF team was a major draw when I joined the practice, which is evident in the quality and scope of the transactions we have delivered.”

Pre-press company Reproflex3 Ltd has appointed Paul Orr as brand services business development manager.

The Cramlington company works with clients throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and Mr Orr will manage commercial activities, with a focus on building new strategic partnerships and supporting growth across key areas of the business.
He joins Reproflex3 with more than 28 years of experience in the flexible food packaging pre-press industry.

Sarah Lenegan has joined Teesside-based Able 海角视频 in the new post of in-house legal counsel, bringing over 20 years’ experience in senior roles in ports and logistics, manufacturing and construction as well as local government and private practice.
Her previous roles include legal counsel with the AIM Listed Tekmar Group plc and 12 years with PD Ports.
Able 海角视频 Executive Chairman Peter Stephenson said developing in-house legal expertise was crucial as the company expanded its activities in the renewable energy and marine decommissioning sectors.

North East and Yorkshire accountancy firm M Wasley Chapman & Co has appointed one of the youngest partners in the firm’s 102-year history.
Ross Meadows, who is 28, joined the firm in 2010 an apprentice, gaining both his AAT and ICAEW qualifications.
In 2017 he became a manager, before being promoted to partner this year.
He said: “I am excited for the future and grateful for the opportunity to become a partner. I look forward to progressing at Wasley Chapman, seeing clients through this tricky period and helping them to grow in better times ahead.”

Business advisory firm KPMG has appointed Jordan Raiye to the role of Corporate Finance Manager in the North East to support businesses in the region seeking growth capital.
Mr Raiye has considerable experience in the low carbon energy sector following three years with KPMG’s national energy lead advisory practice.
His appointment comes as the North East’s low carbon energy sector looks set for rapid growth, following the Government’s announcement of Teesworks Offshore Manufacturing Centre, which will create 3,000 new jobs, and the 海角视频’s first ever hydrogen transport hub in Tees Valley.
He said: “The North East is at the forefront of the move towards low carbon economic growth, and there’ll be a significant and positive knock-on effect for businesses in the area as the Government drives forward its commitment to net zero.

Grainger plc, the 海角视频’s largest listed residential landlord has appointed John Blanshard as director of operations.
He will be responsible for Grainger’s national operations, customer service, customer experience and health & safety, including Grainger’s market-leading Live.Safe programme.
Mr Blanshard was previously chief customer officer at Unite Students, the 海角视频’s leading owner, manager and developer of student accommodation.
Earlier in his career, he worked at one of Europe’s largest retailers, Aldi Stores, shortly after they entered the 海角视频, developing the retail platform in the highly competitive 海角视频 supermarket sector. He spent just over ten years at Aldi, including two as Managing Director.
