Newcastle property company Adderstone Group has welcomed seven new appointments across its estates and projects divisions following a period of sustained growth.
The new arrivals have amassed more than 100 years of experience in the property sector in senior project, estate and construction management roles, and have joined the team to support the development and management of Adderstone Group’s expanding estate.
Joining the Estates team are Mel Brown, principal surveyor, who arrives from Capita; Sarah Newton, senior surveyor, who joins from LSH; Tina Rose, property accountant from Knight Frank; and Rob O’Brien, commercial surveyor, who makes the move from Adderstone Group’s residential lettings business, Exchange Residential.
Joining the projects division are Keith Irving, formerly construction director at Metnor; Allan Richardson, previously project manager at Northern Bear; and Tom Barrass, who was a contracts manager of Jomast Developments.

County Durham business Lanchester Group is continuing its ongoing expansion with a commitment to drive its digital division.
The group has appointed Andy Stephenson as its chief digital officer, a newly-created senior role spanning the group’s online portfolio and continuing to include cutting-edge tech across all aspects of the business.
Mr Stephenson will lead digital innovation within the business to increase the company’s revenue through its ecommerce websites, including First 4 Hampers, Best in Show and The Pip Stop.

Law firm Sintons has promoted three of its lawyers as it continues to grow and develop across key areas of the business.
Danielle Dale and Kate Nicklin have both been promoted to senior associate, while Louisa Bestford becomes an associate.
Ms Dale is a real estate lawyer who handles all aspects of the sale, acquisition and finance of commercial properties. She is regularly involved in major regional real estate transactions and acts for an array of clients regionally and nationally.
Recently hailed as a rising star by Legal 500 and associate to watch by Chambers, Ms Nicklin works in neurotrauma, acting on behalf of clients with life-changing injuries. Ms Bestford is part of Sintons’ family team and is a specialist in advising on divorce and separation matters.

Animmersion, the Middlesbrough-based visualisation and immersive technology company, has announced that co-founder Dominic Lusardi is taking on a new role in the business with fellow co-founder Samuel Harrison becoming managing director.
Mr Lusardi remains as a director and major shareholder but will now focus his future efforts in supporting the development of the growing digital cluster in the North East.
Mr Harrison will be supported in his role as managing director by recently appointed business development director Steve Carpenter.

Wilton Engineering has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Duncan Warriner as its new commercial manager.
Duncan, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the engineering and energy industries, will manage all commercial aspects of Wilton’s operations from initial tender and project execution through to completion.
The new role marks a return to Teesside and Wilton Engineering for Mr Warriner, who has spent the past four years as head of operations for Leeds-based J Murphy & Sons Ltd’s specialist businesses, which provide services to the oil & gas, water, renewables and process industries.
Previously, Mr Warriner held the role of proposals director at Wilton Engineering for five years, leading the commercial, tendering, sales and business development team.
He said: “Wilton has a tremendous heritage and an exciting future, which I am extremely pleased to be part of. I previously enjoyed a successful five years with the company, and now, with the privilege of re-joining the business, I am keen to deliver continued growth in key markets.”

Port and logistics specialist AV Dawson has strengthened its team with the appointment of a commercial and marketing director.
The company, which owns and operates a 100-acre port and logistics facility in Middlesbrough, has promoted Charlie Nettle from his previous role as head of commercial and marketing into a new directorial position on the board to help drive forward the business’ growth strategy.
Mr Nettle, who joined the business in November 2015, has responsibility for developing new markets and building long term sustainable growth.
