Muckle LLP has strengthened its team with four senior promotions, including two new partners.
Deborah Lazenby and Lisa Kelly have made partner, whilst Jennifer Pearson has been promoted to senior associate and Stephanie Brown to associate.

Rockliffe Hall, the five-star luxury golf and spa resort in the County Durham countryside, has announced two senior appointments.
Katie Towersey has been appointed as the new spa director, taking over from Victoria Rickett who spent 10 years at the resort. Ms Towersey has over 20 years of experience within the spa and wellness industry, with several years spent working with iconic brands such as Jurlique, ESPA and L’Occitane.
Meanwhile, Callum Nicoll joins as director of golf where he will oversee the resort’s award-winning 18-hole championship golf course. He has nine years’ international experience in the Middle East where he was a senior team member hosting three Abu Dhabi HSBC Championships.

A family law specialist who began his career with Hay & Kilner Law Firm has returned to take up a senior role with the practice.
Christian Butler, who specialises in managing disputes arising from divorce and separation which involve complex assets, companies, pensions and property portfolios, has rejoined the Newcastle-headquartered firm as a partner in its family law team.
Mr Butler moved to the North East to study for a degree in marine biology at Newcastle University before completing his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course qualifications at Northumbria University. He secured a training contract with Hay & Kilner before going on to develop his expert legal knowledge with a specialist North East family law firm.
He said “I’m looking forward to taking a leading role in the development of both the family law department and the wider Hay & Kilner business, and am very pleased to be back where my legal career started.”
Northumberland National Park Authority has appointed Margaret Anderson as its new head ranger.
Ms Anderson’s appointment comes after Paget Lazzari announced his retirement after 32 years with the National Park.
Ms Anderson has worked a number of roles at the National Park for 15 years, including administration, planning, and volunteer coordination, and has been a ranger since 2008. She grew up on a farm at the edge of the Park and continues to live and farm in the community with her family.

Newcastle data specialist Kani Payments has announced the appointment of three senior hires.
The company has promoted Alina Ciocan from finance operations manager to head of finance, Melissa Beckett as chief marketing officer and Sophie Harbisher at data science lead.
Ms Ciocan leads the finance team with 10 years’ experience in the finance and payments industries, including with EE Mafcote International and Flex-e-Card.
Ms Beckett, meanwhile, previously led NatWest’s Business Accelerator Programme for the North, and Ms Harbisher’s background in research statistics makes her a strategic data science lead.

Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) is welcoming a new chair and three new trustees to the board of its charitable trust at an exciting time for the organisation.
phil Kite will take up the position of chair in what is the 10th year of TWAM Development Trust. Mr Kite, who will be the new chair of the TWAM Development Trust, started his career as a chartered accountant and has over 30 years’ experience leading innovative engineering businesses as managing director and CEO, most recently Reece Group.
He said: “TWAM is more than just responsible for storing and recording our cultural heritage. It is its role in sharing that information that makes it so important. As a society we need to learn from the past, understand how we became who we are, which in turn can only help us have a better tomorrow.”
Crystal Hicks, Grant Murray and John Holmes also join as trustees.
