Andrew Brennan steps up in intellectual property and technology team in Birmingham office of law firm

Law firm has promoted a new partner in its intellectual property and team in Birmingham.

Andrew Brennan advises on both contentious and non-contentious IP and technology-related matters representing technology and creative start-ups through to global multinationals, particularly within the retail and manufacturing sectors.

He also has significant experience in the education sector and represents universities in relation to the funding, development and commercialisation of their technologies through sale, franchising, spin-outs, collaboration and joint ventures.

Earlier this month, despite a dip in revenue.

Mr Brennan said: "I joined SGH Martineau in 2012 because the firm had a good reputation across all practice areas but especially for intellectual property and technology work.

"We are at the start of an exciting journey with the launch of our new sector-focussed strategic plan, which channels our expertise into advising clients in a few carefully chosen sectors, where we already have a strong reputation."
