Indigo Group has struck a major sponsorship deal with the Welsh Rugby Union for next season's Premiership.
Under the deal the tournament, which is the tier below the four professional regions in Wales, will be renamed the Indigo Group Premiership and feature a fresh format.
The league is being reduced from 16 clubs to 12, with a straight one up, one down promotion-relegation arrangement at the end of the season.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
With more than 40 years’ experience, Indigo Group is a leading provider of complete payroll solutions for contractors, freelancers and agencies in construction and other industries.
It recently announced its sponsorship of professional rugby region the Cardiff Blues, for 2019/20 season.
