Osborne Clarke's revenues rise in 2020 despite pandemic

The Bristol-founded company said it had "remained resilient" thanks to its employees

Law firm Osborne Clarke has recorded a five per cent increase in global revenues in the last financial year.

The Bristol-founded company, which employs around 1,600 staff worldwide including in offices in Reading and London, recorded revenues of €318million (£288million) for 2019-20.

The business said turnover had risen 63 per cent over the last five years.

In the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, Osborne Clarke's revenue increased by three per cent to £155million - up from £150million in 2018-19.

Peter Clough, head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol office, said: “It’s been a challenging year but thanks to the work of our brilliant people we’ve remained resilient.

“Our teams have pulled together to keep the firm running smoothly and to find new ways to support our clients.”

Earlier this year, Osborne Clarke announced plans to move its 600-strong Bristol team to the high-tech green office, Halo, in Bristol.
