Nottingham PR agency Cartwright Communications looking for staff for London and Birmingham offices

Business was founded 17 years ago by ex-Nottingham Post journalist and news editor Liz Cartwright

L-R: Account manager Hannah Bullock and marketing director Helen Ansell run Cartwright Communications' London office

Cartwright Communications has opened an office in central London after opening a Birmingham office in the spring.

The Nottingham agency’s Farringdon base will be run by marketing director Helen Ansell alongside PR account manager Hannah Bullock to help the firm expand into new markets and extend its service to existing clients. It is currently looking for staff to join both new offices.

The business – founded 17 years ago by ex-Nottingham Post journalist and news editor Liz Cartwright – said it has already secured three clients since the move – construction project management consultancy EDGE; construction social value provider Fortem; and international luxury desserts restaurant franchise Heavenly Desserts, which is targeting growth in the capital.

The move also provides more regional support for existing clients, including construction firm Willmott Dixon, framework provider Pagabo, potato grower Branston and Nottingham city regeneration project The Island Quarter.

Helen said: “Launching Cartwright in London is a momentous milestone for the agency and strategically positions us to better acquire and support leading clients across property and construction, building products, food and beverage, and healthcare sectors.

“We’re excited by the capability of a London presence to attract more PR, digital and marketing talent to our expanding team.”

Hannah Bullock recently returned to Cartwright following two years at a London communications agency, working with clients in the global music technology and gaming industries.

She said: “I was thrilled to hear that Cartwright was opening a London office and jumped at the chance to return to the brilliant team that provided me with my first career experience in PR out of university.
