A Newcastle professional services specialist is launching a recruitment drive as part of a scale-up strategy that will see it treble in size in the next five years.
Seriös Group currently has a team of 13 working from offices in Jesmond, offering business intelligence, data analytics, testing and quality assurance to customers working in a range of sectors.
Having successfully navigated its first year of trading during the pandemic, the company’s founding directors Lee Rorison, Paul Davison, David Milnes and Antonio Nigrelli have set out ambitious growth plans which will see the firm take on 30 new employees by 2026.
It has also announced the appointment of entrepreneurial investor and mentor, Neil Stephenson as its first non-executive director, an addition the firm said will be invaluable to Seriös Group’s strategic development.
A recruitment drive is under way to take on seven new staff members in the next few weeks.
The growth of the business has been supported by specialist advice from Newcastle-based advisory firm, Ryecroft Glenton.
