Life sciences agency ramarketing has moved into new º£½ÇÊÓƵ headquarters as it marks 16 years in business.
The agency has moved into The Catalyst at Newcastle Helix – a move which marks its fourth expansion since its launch. The company said its relocation from Carliol Square cements its North East roots while also placing it at the heart of one of the region’s most vibrant innovation hubs.
The Catalyst is already home to a number of health, life sciences and tech organisations, placing ramarketing close to the city’s start-ups, academic researchers and a pipeline of future talent.

Ramarketing’s move coincides with its 16th year in business, marking a milestone in the company’s growth. Since its launch by Raman Sehgal, the firm now has a team of 74 employees based in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, Europe and North America, having more than trebled in size since its last move, into Carliol Square in 2018.
The agency said it is continuing to expand its global footprint, supporting clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech supply chain with brand, digital, content and strategy services.
Emma Banks, CEO at ramarketing, said: “This move reflects where we are as a business - ambitious, growing and focused on creating the best possible environment for our team and our clients. The Catalyst is more than just a building; it’s a hub of innovation, connection and collaboration. Being based here allows us to stay close to the region we love, while benefiting from everything this future-facing space has to offer.”
The firm’s new space has a modern, flexible working environment designed to accommodate the agency’s hybrid teams. Features include collaborative breakout zones, private focus pods, fully equipped meeting rooms, an auditorium, communal kitchen and on-site shower facilities.
Amelia Findlay, centre manager at The Catalyst, said: “ramarketing is a genuine North East success story and we’re delighted to welcome the team to the Catalyst, an ideal home for such an ambitious, innovative company. We pride ourselves on nurturing a supportive, collaborative ecosystem in which our customers celebrate each other’s successes and I’m sure ramarketing will receive a warm welcome and settle in quickly.”

The move comes as Ramarketing & PR Limited publishes accounts for 2024, showing turnover rose from £7.56m to £7.9m, while delivering pre-tax profits of £2.11m, up from £385,093. The overall profit for the year was £1.73m, up from £392,726 and total equity stood at £5.67m, up from £3.95m.
Employee numbers went down from 75 to 63 in the accounts year as the firm made 10 redundancies due to “excess capacity and the changing nature of the work being undertaken” as well as its project pipeline at the time. Workforce numbers have since jumped back up above 70.
Within the accounts, CEO Ms Banks said the company’s trading performance had “been adversely impacted by global macroeconomic conditions, which contributed to delayed decision-making across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors during the early part of 2024”.
She added: “However, a more positive outlook emerged in the second half of the year, with the company reporting a strengthening pipeline in line with improving market sentiment.
“Despite sector-wide challenges, the business has continued to expand its client base through increased business development activity and proactive engagement with new opportunities.”
