A law firm has recruited seven new staff across the business to help meet growing demand from new and existing clients.

Banner Jones - which has offices in Chesterfield, Mansfield, Nottingham and Sheffield - has made the appointments in its residential property, dispute resolution and commercial property departments following 'unprecedented demand' for its legal services during the pandemic.

In the 12 months to May 2021, Banner Jones' residential property department alone completed in excess of 5,500 transactions - marking a 38 per cent increase on the previous year.

Banner Jones chief executive Simon Wright said: "The last year or so has been extremely challenging for all businesses, but the demand for both business and personal legal services has bounced back strongly.

In response to that, we are delighted and privileged to be welcoming seven new colleagues to the Banner Jones family.
