New public sector partner at Trowers & Hamlins

Birmingham office of law firm boosts public sector commercial team with new hire

Law firm Trowers & Hamlins has appointed a new partner in its Birmingham office.

Chris Plumley joins the firm's public sector commercial team, having previously been lead partner in the local government practice at Anthony Collins Solicitors.

There, he specialised in public sector property development and regeneration projects.

Mr Plumley is said to be a passionate advocate for complex urban renewal projects who is capable of unlocking developments, having earned the trust of a large number of local authority chief executives over his many years of service in the public sector.

He said: "Building new places for people to live and work is surely one of the most exciting parts of working hand-in-glove with local authorities and other public bodies.
