The Birmingham office of law firm Gateley has made nine new promotions including two partners.
They span its construction, commercial dispute resolution, corporate recovery, real estate and regulatory teams and also include three new senior associates and four staff stepping up to associate.
Commercial real estate lawyer Helen Roberts has been promoted to partner.

She specialises in development work on industrial, retail, office and leisure schemes, with a particular emphasis on complex and long-term development projects.
She regularly acts for Midlands-based developers in connection with all aspects of their developments.
Residential development lawyer Robert Thompson has also been promoted to partner.
He specialises in land acquisition, promotion agreements and funding in both the private and public sectors.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate and planning, and regularly project manages sites from acquisition, through planning consent, site assembly through to sale.

Solicitors Safeea Shafiq, John Williams, Gemma Flanders and Kate Oliver have all been promoted to associate.
The news comes as the firm, which was the first to list on the stock exchange from the introduction of the Legal Services Act 2007, announces a total of 22 promotions across six of its English offices.
