The Gresham Network offers a different networking environment where presentations and speakers are strictly off the table

A new monthly networking event has been launched in Leicestershire.

The Gresham Network (TGN) seeks to offer a different networking environment, with presentations and speakers strictly off the table.

The 'no-pressure' event is about bringing business people together to network with new and existing contacts in a relaxed setting.

It is led by a group of businesses including Associate Events, Black Iron Social, Gresham Works, Pattersons Commercial Law, Mattioli Woods, Metro Bank, The Gresham Aparthotel and Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL).

Around 50 business people from Leicester and Leicestershire attended the first TGN event at The Gresham Aparthotel this month - and organisers are looking to welcome even more to the next event on May 5.

Other dates include July 7, August 4, September 1, October 6, November 3 and December 1.

Kirsty Adams, managing associate at Pattersons Commercial Law, said: "Our first event was superb. With nearly 50 people, we were absolutely delighted with the turnout. Everything about it worked so well from the efficient organisation to the vibrant setting in The Gresham and Black Iron Social, which contributed to a pleasant atmosphere, conducive to great networking.
