A new financial services firm has opened in the South West.
Fractional Finance was founded by Kat Wellum-Kent, who has 20 years' experience in financial services. Ms Wellum-Kent's new venture will offer services for what she describes as "ambitious, entrepreneurial, and forward-thinking businesses".
The firm, based in Burleigh, Stroud supports its clients with in-depth forecasting and strategy, and helps them reach their goals.
Ms Wellum-Kent said: "We're not your typical finance team. After working in finance for more than two decades, I've spotted the chink in the armour. Successful businesses need financial teams that sit within a business supporting owners to drive their vision through actionable, data-driven insight.

鈥淚t鈥檚 no good just giving a business its financial figures and leaving the owner to figure it out. They鈥檙e already likely to be wearing many hats, so adding this to their plate isn鈥檛 going to help. Fractional Finance offers a bespoke solution to its clients, working with them to make sure their ambitions become a reality.鈥
Styling itself as the "Google Maps of finance", Fractional Finance uses numbers to map a business鈥檚 journey, helping teams find direction. It makes sure teams stay on track but will never stop them from being entrepreneurial.
Ms Wellum-Kent added: 鈥淭he business landscape has become increasingly challenging, with many hurdles in the way for businesses owners, especially those in the start-up and scale-up phases. Fractional Finance not only gives these businesses a clear indication of how they are performing financially but from this, we can support senior leaders with aspects such a salary, remuneration possibilities, technology investment and business acquisitions to ensure they stand head and shoulders above their competitors in an ever-increasingly competitive world.
鈥淚鈥檓 excited to be officially launching Fractional Finance today and can鈥檛 wait to see what the future holds.鈥
