Law firm DWF has appointed a new executive partner in its Birmingham office.
Jon Stevens, who is a partner in the firm's tax team, will be responsible for driving forward the practice's business objectives through employee engagement and service delivery as well as leading the office's corporate social responsibility work in the local community.
Mr Stevens has more than 17 years of experience advising on tax matters ranging across all disciplines with particular interest in real estate transactions and corporate matters.
He joined the Birmingham office in 2013 in order to create an externally focused, consulting tax practice at DWF.
He said: "I am delighted to take on the role of executive partner for the Birmingham office.
"The team has gone from strength to strength over the last few years.
"I look forward to leading the office in continuing to provide a broad range of legal services to our clients and working with local communities through the DWF Foundation."
