Financial services and accountancy firm RSM º£½ÇÊÓƵ has appointed a new office managing partner in Birmingham.
Helen Brocklebank will succeed Mark Taylor who has held the position for more than seven years and who will remain as regional managing partner in the Midlands.
Ms Brocklebank joined the practice in 2007 as an associate in the mergers and acquisitions team and has progressed through the ranks since to become a partner.
She leads this same team in the West Midlands and is also the co-head of industrials and manufacturing.
She specialises in mid-market, cross-border deals and her experience includes private equity and management buyouts, disposals and capital fundraising.

RSM º£½ÇÊÓƵ's Birmingham office has doubled in size over the last five years from 200 people pre-pandemic to more than 400 employees today and is the company's largest outside the capital. Eight new partners have joined since 2020 and 70 trainees were recruited this year.
Ms Brocklebank said: "I'm thrilled to embark on my next challenge as office managing partner in Birmingham. The city is a dynamic and exciting market to work in and be a part of.

"I have felt for some time though that the move to our new home at 103 Colmore Row was a key milestone and, once we were fully settled in, it would be the right moment for me to step aside to enable fresh ideas and renewal.
"Helen will be a fantastic leader of our Birmingham-based team and already is a brilliant ambassador for RSM in the local market."
