National consulting engineers take on bigger premises next to Leicester city centre

Despite the pandemic JMS has said it has continued to enjoy significant business growth and plans even more offices

A national group of consulting engineers is bolstering its presence in Leicester with a move to bigger premises.

JMS said it is expanding to meet growing demand for its specialised civil and structural engineering services.

The new office is located within the historic Friars Mill office complex, part of the waterside regeneration project.

It comes on the back of a move to a larger regional office in Reading, with Graham Chapman and James Gillies heading up the team there.

Despite the global pandemic, which has seen many construction sites close, JMS has said it has continued to enjoy significant business growth, with plans to open additional offices across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

The decision to move to a larger Leicester office is being cited as a further example of its commitment and growing presence in the Midlands region.

Lynn Clancy, associate director in charge of the Leicester office, said: “Opening a larger office in Leicester builds upon our strategic plans for continued growth and development across the Midlands region.

“We have been lucky enough to bring on a significant number of new projects thanks to the support and recommendations of our clients.
