Hull-based Myton Law is celebrating its entrance into The Times’ 200 Best Law Firms list, barely a decade after launching.

It is one of only four practices noted for maritime work in England and Wales, and joins fellow city firm Hudgell Solicitors in the rankings.

Hudgell has retained its position from 2021 after a stellar year for the firm in high profile cases including the Post Office IT scandal.

Myton, established in 2010, is based at Victoria Pier, and advises logistics businesses across Yorkshire and the Humber, nationally and internationally, including rail freight, shipping, port and multimodal operators.

The listing reads: “Hull-based Myton Law has particular expertise in shipping, rail and logistics and operates from offices overlooking the Humber. The firm’s specialist casualty unit is experienced in dealing with marine or transport-related incidents.”

Published this past week, the list is compiled by independent research company Statista, with solicitors and barristers recommending the best law firms across 26 categories.

Votes from more than 4,500 respondents generated the listing.
