Law firm Beeston Shenton has welcomed three new members of staff and promoted four others.
The company – which has offices in Newcastle and South Cheshire – has recruited Sally Robinson as post-completion manager, Gemma Boulton as associate conveyancer and Laura Crook as case handler.
The staff shake-up comes after the company completely rebranded and launched its new website.
Director Paul Shenton said: “We are delighted Gemma and Laura have joined the property department together with Sally.
“They bring a wealth of experience and know-how, and will be a great addition to our property team.”
At the same time Jennifer Riddaway, Juliette Carter, Eleanor Adams and Olivia Hargreaves have all received promotions.
Elsewhere, waste management firm Red Industries has appointed Nigel Bowen as chief executive officer.
Nigel has been the Newcastle-based group’s managing director since 2018.

In his new role, Nigel will be driving the business forward to further growth over the coming years while ‘continuing to deliver excellence’ to Red Industries customers.
He will work closely with executive management and the board to purse and achieve the goals set out in the company’s strategic plan.
Red Industries founder, Adam Share, will continue in his active role as chairman of the board.
Nigel said: “Through our next phase of growth, we will ensure we retain our customer-centred approach. In doing so we will see that our business relationships, the high level of customer service and the responsiveness we pride ourselves in, will continue to be our foundation.

Fleet management and mobility services provider Fleet Operations has appointed Mark Gallagher as business development manager.
In his new role, Mark – who has more than 20 years’ experience in the fleet industry – will explore new opportunities to accelerate the growth of the Silverdale company’s client base.

And ceramics industry trade association the British Ceramic Confederation has appointed Hannah Hiles as its new communications manager.
The 41-year-old, from Newcastle, joins the Stoke-based national organisation after seven years as a freelance writer and proofreader.
She has previously been a journalist at The Sentinel and Birmingham Mail, and media and communications manager at Keele University.
Chief executive Dr Laura Cohen MBE said: “We are delighted to welcome Hannah to the BCC team as we continue to represent and protect our members, and help them grow their businesses.”

Staffordshire University has welcomed Steve Hargreaves as its employer partnerships development manager.
Steve will be supporting businesses to access university support and funding via the university’s brand new enterprise zone.
Steve has joined from Keele University and brings with him more than a decade of working in the businesses support sector.
He said: “I am proud to have joined Staffordshire University, to support the growth and development of the enterprise zone is a fantastic opportunity.
“As a Staffordshire University Business School graduate, it is great to be back at a time where the university is making great impact in the innovation and business support arena.
