A handful of North Staffordshire businesses have welcomed new arrivals - from a HR director at a building society to newly-appointed sales and marketing staff at a tiling products provider.

Leek United Building Society has appointed Tracey Johnson as its new Human Resources (HR) director.
Tracey has almost 30 years’ experience in HR/personnel within the housing and financial services sectors, including senior and executive-level positions.
She joins the society from Newcastle-under-Lyme-based social housing provider Aspire Housing Ltd, where she was executive director for corporate services and business transformation.
Her appointment is the first executive-level HR role to be created by the society.
Tracey said: “It’s critical to the development and strategy within any organisation for its people to have a voice around the executive table.

APPRENTICE
A Stafford-based website design company has welcomed a new apprentice.
Megan Smith, digital marketing apprentice, has recently joined the team at Red Box Web Design, based on Staffordshire Technology Park.
Megan is following in the footsteps of George Birchell, who was a digital marketing apprentice and is now a full-time web developer.
Rob Mackley, director at Red Box Web Design, said: “We have continued to invest in apprentices and have seen the benefits for our business and the young people themselves, who have thrived and developed their professional skills, whilst playing an active role in our company.
"We are also planning to take on another apprentice towards the end of the year. ‘’

SALES AND MARKETING
Tiling solutions business BAL has strengthened its sales and marketing teams with two new appointments.
Kathryn Hyde, pictured above, has joined the Stoke-on-Trent business as marketing manager and David Moore has been appointed as the new area sales Manager for the North West and North Wales respectively.

IT SUPPORT
IT support business D2NA has welcomed three new team members.
Callum Burgess has joined the Newcastle-under-Lyme company as an infrastructure engineer, while Naomi McGregor has been appointed as an administrative assistant and Dan Tindall, pictured above, has been named security consultant.
TALENT SUPPORT
Stoke-on-Trent-based MyCleverGroup has appointed Suzi Archer in the role of head of talent.
She will be responsible for developing and managing the Festival Park company’s group talent strategy, ensuring all of the existing team members are engaged, feel valued and are able to develop.
Suzi’s recent appointment is part of MyCleverGroup’s ambitious growth plans which will lead to a constant stream of recruitment across all of their divisions, including its recent acquisitions Harrison Carloss and Digital Balance.
