Mills & Reeve has been reappointed to the legal panel of London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) after a competitive tender process.

LUPC is a professional purchasing organisation that acts on behalf of over 60 member institutions made up of universities and colleges as well as government agencies, research organisations and museums and other cultural establishments.

Mills & Reeve is one of seven firms to have been appointed from an initial pool of 20 that responded to the tender, scoring the highest on service delivery.

They will provide legal support across employment, commercial, disputes, property and constitutional law.

The firm is a provider of legal services to the education and charities sectors, acting for more than 120 universities, colleges, national agencies, academies, educational businesses and 250 charities.

It is ranked in the top tier for charities work by legal directory Chambers º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

The new legal framework started this month and will run for three years with an option to extend for one year.

The framework will be open to all LUPC members, with a new special focus on museums and other cultural institutions, which includes some existing clients of the firm such as the British Council, the British Library and the British Film Institute.
