Mackrell Solicitors expands out of capital with Birmingham launch

Firm founded in London in 1845 has chosen Birmingham to launch only its second º£½ÇÊÓÆµ office to serve clients in the Midlands

A London law firm has opened a new office in Birmingham city centre.

Mackrell Solicitors, which was founded in the City of London in 1845, has chosen the West Midlands for its second office which is led by corporate solicitor Guvvy Sandhu.

Mackrell is a full-service firm covering fields such as corporate and commercial matters, family and employment alongside emerging areas including cryptocurrency and cannabis law.

Its new base is at The Wharf in Bridge Street.

Mr Sandhu said: "Birmingham is quickly evolving to play an even greater role in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ's economy and international reputation.

"With the move of many large organisations to the city and the connectivity that HS2 will deliver in future, many businesses are looking to explore the second city.

"Our expansion into the city confirms our commitment to help businesses and individuals across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ with their matters and we hope our international expertise proves useful to the diverse range of businesses in Birmingham and the surrounding area."
