Midlands-based recruitment consultancy Macildowie has appointed a new head of talent at its Nottingham headquarters amid a period of growth for the company.
Sarah-Louise Bussey returns to the firm following a five-year spell as recruitment manager with national retailer Next, which is based in Leicestershire.
She previously spent 10 years working at Macildowie’s Leicester office.
She said: "I have such fond memories of my time with the company.
"I gained so many valuable skills that opened up some fantastic opportunities, both in my career and personal life."
The appointment is part of Macildowie’s continued growth plans, with Sarah-Louise heading up the learning and development programme, aiming to refine the process of hiring, developing and retaining talent on offer across all divisions.

The appointment follows expansion of its senior team including the appointment of company chairman John O’Sullivan, who brings with him over 30 years’ experience.
The firm has also been included in The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For in 2019, coming in 23 in the rankings, and took home third place in the Midlands Best Companies to Work For, among a 75-strong list.
