Law firm Stone King expands with new Manchester office

The Bath-headquartered practice has also announced a series of appointments

Law firm Stone King has expanded with the opening of a new office in Manchester.

The Bath-headquartered practice said its new base on York Street in the city centre would help it to serve clients in the north of England, alongside its Leeds office.

The business, which employs around 250 people around the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, including at offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and London, has also announced a series of appointments.

Senior associate Katie Shire has joined the Business Property Team in Bath, while the firm’s Construction Team has been boosted by solicitor Duncan Ho in Cambridge, and in Bath paralegal Olivia Howard and legal assistant Eve Souter.

The International and Cross-border Team has welcomed paralegal Shirain Zund who is based in Bath, while apprentice paralegal Freya Newman has joined Stone King’s Immigration Team in Cambridge.

Head of Stone King’s immigration team and head of faith sector Julie Moktadir said: “We act for both business and individual clients with our immigration work much in demand. We are delighted to welcome Freya to the team and support her with her legal career.”

Sean Randall-Morris, who heads up the firm's construction team, said the new recruits and promotion reflected increased work in the sector, adding: "Our expanded team can help ensure construction projects are delivered on time and on budget, and we pride ourselves on managing potential issues before they arise, saving time and money.”
