Howgate Sable
Manchester-based executive search firm Howgate Sable has announced a raft of key senior hires.
Gaurav Batra joins the firm as chairman, having previously operated at board level within the Virgin Group and Bibby Line Group. He is also chairman of Greater Manchester-based charity, Life Leisure.
Liz Shay has been appointed head of research following a two-decade stint at London-based search firm The Miles Partnership, while Dean White joins the firm as a partner from Page Executive, part of the FTSE 250-listed Page Group.

Real estate services firm ܲ&;²ھhas appointedChad Daviesto head its north west valuation & advisory team based in Manchester.
He joins from Lambert Smith Hampton where he was director in the Manchester valuation team.
In his new role, Mr Davies will be responsible for leading the six-strong commercial valuation team and will report to partner James Milner, who headsܲ&;²ھ’s northern valuation & advisory team.
Mr Milner said: “Chad’s arrival at the firm is a bold statement of our intent to grow and expand our valuation & advisory offering in the North and we are delighted to welcome him aboard.

MHA Moore and Smalley

North West accountancy and business advisory firmMHAMoore and Smalley has made Alex Kelly a new partner for its Manchester office.
He joins the firm as audit partner from Baldwins and Grant Thornton.
The appointment comes after the firm opened its office at 80 Mosley Street in Manchester city centre in September.

BGF

BGF has appointed Joanne McTiffin to its Manchester-based Talent Network team, which provides portfolio companies with access to a group of more than 5,500 board-level non-executives, business leaders and sector experts.
In her new role, Ms McTiffin will further expand BGF’s network, focussing on supporting portfolio businesses in the north west and the Midlands.
She joins from Tindall Perry Partnership.

Pareto Financial Planning has announced the appointment of three paraplanners; Caroline Singh-Bhaker, Chris Swaby and Lucas Jones.
Operations manager Nicky Aspray said: “We are delighted that Caroline, Chris and Lucas have joined us at this exciting time for the business. They bring with them a wealth of paraplanning experience.

Begbies Traynor

Begbies Traynor has appointed Neil Cronshaw to a creditor services role across the North West region.
Mr Cronshaw will work across Manchester, Liverpool and Preston alongside existing creditor services teams in London and Sheffield.
In his new role, he will liaise with clients and the insolvency service in order to facilitate formal appointments for Begbies Traynor.
