Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has announced two appointments.
Vanessa Lee joins the firm as a partner to lead private client services across the north of England.

Ms Lee, who joins from EY, will support the tax team across the north on all aspects of private client tax issues.

Meanwhile, partner Richard Cameron-Williams joins the firm’s forensics team.
Mr Cameron-Williams will work with clients across Manchester, Liverpool and Yorkshire, focussing on expert witness and investigation matters and developing an insurance offering.

Urbanbubble
Residential property management specialist Urbanbubble has made six new appointments in the north west, including former Greater Manchester Police superintendent Nadeem Butt to head of build-to-rent operations.
The Manchester-based firm, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary, has also appointed Samantha Richardson as general manager of West Tower in Deansgate Square and Sofie Haig-Smith as general manager of Anco & Co in Ancoats.
Gavin Carson also joins as general manager of Spring Wharf in Bath, while Leo Glass joins as general manager at Blackhorse Mills in Walthamstow, London and Rebecca Whitehead joins as general manager at The Whitmore Collection, Birmingham.
Steve Austin has also been promoted internally to general manager at the LOCAL Blackfriars scheme developed by Salboy in Salford.

Northcoders
The coding bootcamp for the North, Northcoders, has made three new appointments to its partnerships and growth teams.
Hannah Bratley joins as partnership success manager, Bethan Wafer joins as an onboarding manager and Frankie Buttons joins as Northcoders’ new content manager.

These latest starters follow three tutors who have been appointed over the past couple of months.
Adept
Adept Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers has appointed Neil Brown as a director to head up the company’s Manchester office and spearhead its growth across the north west.
Mr Brown joins the Leeds-headquartered firm having previously worked at several national and international firms including WSP, Costain and Jacobs.

Stephensons
Law firm Stephensons has appointed a new solicitor in its family department as growing demand for its specialist family law services increases.
Rachel Benett joins the firm's Manchester office as an associate solicitor specialising in the law relating to children.
She was previously at the London law firm Bindmans LLP.

Specialist business advisory firm FRP has promoted Rachel Heighington to director in the restructuring team in its Manchester office.
The promotion follows a period of significant investment in the firm’s people and services, FRP said.
Ms Heighington joined FRP in 2010 and has 15 years' experience and specialises in corporate restructuring and personal insolvency, working across a range of sectors including leisure, construction, manufacturing, retail and professional services.

WHN Solicitors
North West law firm WHN Solicitors has appointed John Colvin as a senior associate solicitor.
Based in its Bury office, Mr Colvin joins the seven-strong dispute resolution team, where he will be tasked with driving further business growth in niche legal areas across the region.
He joins WHN from Kennedys and, before that, was senior in-house solicitor at Speedy Hire PLC and a senior solicitor at law firm DWF.

National audit, tax, advisory and risk firm Crowe has appointed Dave Riley as partner in its corporate finance team.
Dave Riley, , who has held a number of senior roles as an advisory specialist in the Big Four, financial services and private equity businesses, joined on November 5 and will be leading on mergers and acquisitions, debt advisory and due diligence in the firm’s Manchester office.
Mr Riley will work alongside Manchester office managing partner Michael Jayson and the rest of the corporate finance partner team nationally.

Fast Web Media has appointed Mark Brickles to its senior leadership team, where he takes on the role of business development manager.
Mr Brickles joins from venture capital group InterRisk, which he co-founded.
In his new role, he will be responsible for bringing in new business and working with the 15-strong team to provide added value to both existing and new clients.
