Ward Hadaway
Katie Small and Catriona Thomson are to join Ward Hadaway's Manchester office as trainee solicitors after beating more than 500 applicants.
Small and Thomson join 11 recruits based in the firm’s Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester offices and will spend the next two years working in various areas of law, including corporate, commercial, commercial dispute resolution, employment, litigation, property, healthcare and private client.

Imagile Professional Services
Daresbury-based asset management consultancy Imagile Professional Services has promoted Tom Dewar to the position of sector head for its new handback division.
Dewar will lead the division, which works exclusively with public-private partnership (PPP) stakeholders and managing assets that are ready to be handed back as long-term projects come to an end.

He joined the firm in 2017 as a senior lifecycle manager and has more than 15 years’ experience working with a diverse portfolio of PPP projects belonging to investment group Semperian PPP Investment Partners Limited.

Integrated communications agency Beattie has promoted Rachel Gladwin to managing director of the north and midlands.
The north and midlands operation includes Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.

Pixel Kicks
Manchester-based digital agency Pixel Kicks has appointed three new members to its team.
Shannon Howarth joins the agency as a web developer from North West Design Studios in Bolton, while Dan Parr joins as a senior digital designer from 90degrees in Manchester.
Fred Burrow joins as a digital marketing apprentice from the industry-led social media apprenticeship programme Juice Academy.
