KPMG boosts senior team with key appointments

Five team members have started new roles in fields such as mergers, private enterprise and public sector

Financial and business services firm KPMG has made a quintet of senior appointments in its Birmingham team.

After nearly 30 years with the firm, Stuart Sewell has been appointed as the new head of mergers and acquisitions for the Midlands region.

He will lead the team, advising corporates and shareholders across the region on their growth strategies and corporate finance transactions.

Richard Dwight has been appointed head of transaction advisory services for the Midlands, working within the firm's deal advisory business, supporting corporate clients, private equity and owner-managed businesses across the region.

WEST MIDLANDS BUSINESS NEWS REVIEW OF 2024

Nikki Davies has become the firm's head of private enterprise audit for the West Midlands.

After more than two decades at KPMG working in external audit, financial reporting and accounting advice across a broad range of industries, she will now spearhead the audit practice locally.

Ms Davies will continue to work closely with management teams and shareholders on acquisitions, disposals and transactions.

Louise Scott-Worrall from the firm's advisory team has become infrastructure, government and healthcare lead for public sector clients.
