Knights PLC is continuing on its campaign to shake up the º£½ÇÊÓƵ legal scene after announcing that it is investing in new office space in Nottingham and Leeds.

Following the acquisition of Fraser Brown Solicitors, one of the biggest independent law firms in Nottingham, Knights said it is relocating its operations in the city to an open-plan workspace at Embankment House.

Located within Riverside Business Park, Knights will occupy over 9,000 sq ft of space in the building with capacity for up to 110 staff.

The group expects to enter Embankment House in October.

The firm also moved into Leeds in March after buying Shulmans, and is now planning to relocate its commercial client operations there to offices within the newly redeveloped Majestic building the heart of the city.

Knights will be one of the first tenants to occupy the landmark building when it opens in January, and will occupy more than 20,000 sq ft over two floors, providing capacity to add up to another 150 fee earners in Leeds.

A spokesman said: “The space has been elegantly designed to an exceptionally high quality to reflect its prime location and is conveniently positioned for colleagues and clients opposite Leeds Station.

“Today’s announcement reflects Knights’ ongoing commitment to provide a high-quality and collaborative working environment for colleagues and will support its expansion in the region through recruitment as it continues to scale its presence across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.”
