A new cross-regional joint venture has been launched to offer tax services across the Midlands.

Solihull-based Jerroms Accountants and Business Advisers has teamed up with tax specialist Pete Miller, of The Miller Partnership, in Leicester.

The new outfit will operate under the name of Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax and bring together Mr Miller's tax expertise with Jerroms' growing and technical corporate tax team which has doubled in size over the past three years.

The new-look team has seven staff and will enable Jerroms to go further in supporting their clients in tax planning.

Jerroms director Lucas Markou said: "We have worked alongside Pete for a number of years and are delighted that he has decided to come on board.

"His depth of knowledge is hard to rival, combined also with his pragmatism and resolve to create highly effective tax solutions. We are looking forward to working with him for the benefit of our clients and seeing the direction that this new venture will take."

Mr Miller advises businesses, accountants and legal professionals across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, regularly speaking and writing on a range of corporate tax transactions such as mergers and demergers, management buyouts and share exchanges.

He added: "I have known Lucas for many years and, when the idea was presented to me, it was of immediate interest.
