Interpath Advisory opens latest regional office in Newcastle city centre

The company was launched in May after the the sale of KPMG’s º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Restructuring practice and now has seven º£½ÇÊÓÆµ offices

An independent advisory company formed following the sale of KPMG’s º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Restructuring practice has opened a new office in Newcastle city centre.

Interpath Advisory has taken Suite 4 in the Grade II listed Sixty Grey Street building, and joins other tenants including Cushman & Wakefield.

The firm was founded in May 2021 following the sale of KPMG’s º£½ÇÊÓÆµ restructuring practice to H.I.G. Capital and Interpath’s managing directors.

The firm, which is headquartered in London, has already opened four offices in cities across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, in Edinburgh, Nottingham, Reading and Aberdeen, and plans to open a further six offices in London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow between now and Spring 2022.

Interpath has a restructuring and turnaround team of 10 people in Newcastle who help organisations facing challenge or opportunity to find the right path forward.

James Lumb, who leads Interpath’s team in the North East, said it has strong growth plans for the future, including broadening out its wider advisory offering following Interpath’s recent expansion into forensic, valuations, M&A and transaction services.
