Independent firm Interpath Advisory has opened a new office in Birmingham city centre.

The company, which was formed last year, has taken new space at 45 Church Street, relocating from its previous home in KPMG's offices at One Snowhill.

Interpath was founded last May following the sale of KPMG's º£½ÇÊÓƵ restructuring practice to HIG Capital and Interpath's managing directors.

The firm, which is headquartered in London, opened its first office in Edinburgh in September, swiftly followed by sites in Leeds, Glasgow, Nottingham, Reading, Newcastle and Aberdeen.

It has plans to open a further three offices in London, Manchester and Bristol between now and the spring.

Interpath has a team of 45 restructuring, turnaround and deal advisory specialists in Birmingham who collectively help organisations facing challenges or opportunities to find the right path forward.

It is planning to broaden its services in the future following the firm's recent expansion into mergers and acquisitions and transactions.
