HCB Group, the Midlands law and accountants firm, has strengthened its presence in the Black Country with the acquisition of another Walsall company.
HCB has taken over the legal practice of Clive Shepherd & Co, moving the staff into its offices in Lichfield Street, which were acquired in 2011 when Walsall legal firm Hadens joined the group.
Clive Shepherd & Co has served the community of Walsall since 1985 and the firm specialises in family law, property law, wills, trusts and probate law.

Mike Gahan, chief executive of the HCB Group, said: “Our latest acquisition, strengthens our Midlands offering and brings on board a well-respected team of lawyers who have great knowledge of the communities in and around Walsall and the Black Country.
“We will be introducing our unique brand of legal and financial services to their clients which includes calling on our experts throughout the country at any time.”
The HCB Group now has 20 offices stretching from Lancashire and the East and West Midlands through Northampton to Tunbridge Wells and the centre of London.
In the past year HCB has expanded its operations to offer financial services through a merger with HCB Accountants.
