A growing law firm has launched a new regional office in Newcastle.

Fletchers Solicitors, which specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence, has opened a base in The Spire in Pilgrim Street, next to the Tyne Bridge, as part of plans to expand in the North East.

The business, which has its head office in Manchester, said the site will serve as a regional hub to underscore its continued investment in key regions across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

The group, which was acquired by an affiliate of Sun European Partners LLP in 2021, has more than 1,000 employees across offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Southport, Bolton and Cambridge.

One of the largest clinical negligence and personal injury practices in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, the group includes the legal brands Serious Injury Law, Fletchers Solicitors, Minton Morrill, Cycle SOS, Medical Law Services (MLS) , Patient Claim Line and Blume, and its charitable arm, Fletchers Foundation.

The Newcastle city centre office will launch with five initial staff members, with plans to recruit more in the coming months, growing to a team of more than 30.

Alex Lynch, chief financial officer at Fletchers Solicitors, said: “We are thrilled to open our doors in Newcastle as part of our continued national growth. This new location allows us to be closer to our clients and partners in the region.

“Our mission is to help rebuild the lives of those who have suffered life-changing injuries, ensuring they receive access to the justice and support they deserve. Expanding into Newcastle reinforces this mission and deepens our connection to the communities we serve.”
