An investment company with offices in Gloucestershire and London has been named one of the best places to work for in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

Hunter Gatherer Group was ranked fourth in the best small companies league table for 2022, which is compiled by workplace engagement specialist Best Companies and is based on employee surveys.

The firm, which is based in Chipping Campden in the South West and on Tabernacle Street in the capital, also also achieved a three-star accreditation, awarded to organisations of all sizes that meet "world-class levels" of workplace engagement.

The announcement was made at a Best Companies live event on May 20 by TV and sports presenter Dan Walker.

Gavin Johnstone, founder and chief executive of Hunter Gatherer Group said, “In a world facing economic, political, and social uncertainty, the workplace must provide security, wellbeing and opportunity for all its people.

"When we started our first company, our aim and aspiration was for our people to have a sense of pride in the business and know that it provided the very best opportunity for careers to flourish. This accreditation reaffirms that aspiration and is testament to our ongoing growth and success.”

Hunter Gatherer owns and invests in human capital companies and is made up of four businesses. Over the course of the last year, the group said it had "continued its track record" of building companies at scale.

It has already made new investments in the renewable energy and technology sector in 2022, it said.
