'Global leader' ambitions for market research firm the Insights Family as it wins BGF investment

Group says it has polled more than 2.3 million children and parents to date

Family market research firm The Insights Family has secured a £5.6m investment led by BGF as it bids to become a “global leader” in its field.

The Insights Family was founded in 2017 and specialises in providing market intelligence on the behaviour of children, young people and their families. The group says it has polled more than 2.3 million children and parents to date, collecting over 2.7 billion data points, and its client base includes Nike, Warner Bros, Mattel, and LEGO.

BGF has invested £5 million in the Manchester business, with additional participation from DSW Ventures, - the venture capital arm of Dow Schofield Watts.

At BGF’s North West team, the investment was led by Rhys Davenport and Courtney Walker. The DSW Ventures investment was led by Keith Benson.
