Gambit Corporate Finance announces two new partners

The promotions comes after the firm acted on a record £400m of transactions in 2023

Corporate advisory firm Gambit has promoted two key staff members to partnership level. Simon Marsden and Sam Forman will become partners in July.

The promotions comes after the Cardiff headquartered firm in 2023 reported its best ever year after acting on transactions with a combined value of £400m. The mid-corporate finance advisory firm, which was set up in 1992, acted on 19 fundraising and merger and acquisition (M&A) related deals.

A graduate of the University of Southampton, Mr Marsden is a fellow of the ICAEW having qualified with KPMG. He joined Gambit in 2002 and has significant experience in advising private companies and shareholders on disposals, acquisitions and fundraising. Mr Marsden has particular expertise in business services and co-leads Gambit’s sector team.

Mr Forman joined Gambit in 2015 following his graduation in international business from Brunel University, London. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and attained the ICAEW corporate finance qualification. He has gained extensive M&A experience and leads Gambit’s relationship with Corporate Finance International.
