A firm of independent financial planners has celebrated its official launch with an event in Birmingham city centre.
Colmore Partners hosted more than 30 guests, including Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street, at the launch event at Loki Wine in the city's Great Western Arcade.
The employee-owned consultancy was founded by Richard Meek and Wendy Fellows who, between them, have over 50 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Colmore Partners employs a team of seven people - and is recruiting more to take that up to ten - supported by an advisory board from different professional backgrounds. It recently signed a five-year lease at the Imperial and Whitehall offices in The Grand, Colmore Row.
Mr Meek said: "This was a great opportunity to thank the staff, clients and advisers who have helped us launch and get to where we are. They have given us a sound foundation to grow from here and participate in the resurgent Birmingham economy.
"It was very kind of our mayor to attend and he took the time to remind us that in many parts of our region the outlook isn’t so rosy. We all support his efforts to address these issues in his second term."
