Law firm Freeths has advised restaurant operator Lasan Group as it prepares to open his latest venture.

The real estate team at Freeths in Birmingham provided lease advice for Lasan Group on its move to 130 Colmore Row where it will be opening Nosh and Quaff later this month.

The ‘lobster and beer’ restaurant and bar is the fourth operation for the award-winning restaurant group – owned by Aktar Islam and Jabbar Khan.

The group’s portfolio already includes Lasan in the Jewellery Quarter, Fiesta del Asado on Hagley Road and Raja Monkey on Stratford Road.

Richard Beverley, real estate partner and managing partner of Freeths’ Birmingham office, said Nosh and Quaff reflected an ongoing confidence in the city’s leisure sector, which was creating a new cluster of venues around the city’s business district.

He said: “Aktar and Jabbar have created an exciting and dynamic leisure group that is behind some of Birmingham’s favourite restaurants so I am delighted to have been able to work with them on their latest project.

“We have recently seen venues such as Cosy Club and the Botanist opening at this end of Colmore Row which is making it a real hotspot for meeting, eating and drinking for the city’s business community.”

Mr Khan added: “Lasan Group is renowned for creating uniquely adventurous and exciting dining experiences.
