A newly formed accountancy firm in the West Midlands has made its first acquisition.
BK Plus, which was recently set up by David Baldwin and Shaun Knight, has bought out Warwickshire practice Chapman Nash.
The deal will allow BK Plus to expand its services to businesses north and south of Birmingham while also enabling Chapman Nash to enhance its offering as part of the group.
The practice, which was founded in 2008, will be rebranded as part of the buyout.

The event will be held at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on Thursday November 11 and will celebrate apprentices, employers and training providers across 12 categories including our overall Apprentice of the Year.

BK Plus is headquartered on Walsall Business Park and was launched by former directors of accountancy group Baldwins, now called Azets, which was also headquartered in Walsall.

Chapman Nash co-owners Jeremy Chapman and Emma Nash will continue to head up the Warwick office and Mr Chapman will also form part of BK Plus' tax team as a chartered tax adviser, assisting with personal, corporate and capital gains tax issues.
