A specialist PR agency for the international fintech market has launched three new divisions in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Manchester-based SkyParlour, located on Princess Street in the city centre, said the new divisions - Started, Scale and Consult - will support the “evolving” fintech market and help firms “better express their purpose”.

It comes as the agency has also opened a new office space in London, with plans to open an office in New York in January.

The agency, which was founded in 2009 in the wake of the global financial crisis, said it is “well placed” to lead firms through turbulent times.

The agency’s co-founder Kimberly Waldron said the pandemic has changed how fintech firms at different stages need to communicate, “especially when it comes to attracting the right level and type of investment”.

“With understandable caution in the VC/PE community due to instability in the markets, we need to ensure fresh Fintech talent and technology still makes its way to end users,” she said.

“This is exactly why we’re launching Started, to ensure those Fintechs at the beginning of their journey have the support they need to cut through the noise.”
