What鈥檚 new for 2024?
This year brings the announcement of a newly created category, 鈥楤usiness Support Manager of the Year鈥. This new category aims to recognise those that manage a team of PAs, EAs and support professionals. It鈥檚 a critical role in many large organisations, leading and developing a high performing business support team that covers a wide range of functions.
Why nominate for the PA of the Year Awards 2024?
It鈥檚 important to recognise the outstanding talent and skills of Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Legal PAs and Business Support Managers. Although, this recognition doesn鈥檛 necessarily need to be from a colleague or your boss. SecsintheCity strongly believes in celebrating your own achievements, which is why self-nominations are encouraged, too!
What鈥檚 on offer for nominees?
The awards ceremony provides nominees the chance to win a momentous career accolade. All finalists are invited to a private evening at the prestigious restaurant, The Ivy, where they can celebrate their successes with their boss and peers.
Alongside the private event, there are also a range of luxurious culinary prizes on offer for the winners, including a Chef's Tasting Menu at The Shard with Oblix and a Taste of Savoy Grill for Two.
The event is sponsored by multi-award winning recruitment consultancy, and SecsintheCity鈥檚 long-standing partner, TAY Associates. They specialise in PA, administrative and support staff recruitment in Central London.
The awards are judged by TAY Associates chief executive Suzanna Tait and SecsintheCity marketing director Sarah EL-Doori. Suzanna says the winning qualities she looks for in nominees are 鈥渁 genuine passion for the profession. Someone who through the challenges, hurdles and problems to solve, genuinely loves what they do.鈥
