Virtual business support and marketing agency Get Ahead VA has welcomed a new regional director for the East Midlands, offering her services to businesses in Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Burton-on-Trent.
Emma Barratt has more than 18 years’ experience in marketing, sales and operations roles, having worked in a variety of sectors.
She was born in Leicestershire, but her career took her down to London and as far north as Scotland.

She set up and ran the marketing for multiple Aston Martin and Jaguar dealerships, as well as spending many years managing stores for a high-end furniture retailer.
Having returned to the East Midlands, Emma was keen to use her entrepreneurial flair to run her own business, and has now taken a franchise with Get Ahead VA.
She said: “From our first contact Rebecca, founder of Get Ahead VA, was so enthusiastic about the business and her team. I could immediately see that we would work well together.
“Get Ahead VA has a fantastic pool of business experts in place that can assist businesses with everything they need, from bookkeeping right through to blogging and telephone answering to Twitter.
