Leicester and London based design practice, rg+p is expanding, scooping awards and growing its top management team.
Grant Giblett, who has been with the practice for seven years, has joined the board of directors in recognition of his success developing the firm's London studio, which is poised to relocate to make room for expansion.
Established in 2012, the London studio started with just two architects and Grant has since grown the team to 18, representing specialists in architecture, master planning and urban design.

He said: "We’re working on some really significant schemes across the Boroughs; and are establishing a reputation for thoughtful and innovative design.
"To continue this positive trajectory, we’ve secured new premises in a prime Central London location, and construction is now underway to transform this space into the open plan environment we require.
"This means there’s plenty of positive change ahead, both for the team and I, as we commit to extending our breadth of work and portfolio of services.”
Further consolidating this growth, rg+p was included in the prestigious AJ100 list for the second consecutive year, placing 77th and improving its ranking by 12 places.

In April rg+p was named Company of the Year at the 2019 Leicester Mercury Business Awards.
The firm picked up the top accolade at the black tie ceremony, in front of 600 guests at Leicester’s Maher Centre.
Based in Waterloo House, near Leicester railway station, the 125-strong team at rg+p is overseen by owner-directors James Badley, Rob Woolston and Mitch Dale.
It has built a solid reputation working on some huge schemes around the 海角视频, and is currently helping transform Leicester’s former Fenwick store into 111 luxury serviced flats, complete with a rooftop bar.
More longer term are the £50 million plans to build 210 apartments – complete with a big “green window” through the middle to let light flood through – opposite Leicester’s Lee Circle car park.
It is also involved in a £51 million project to create 384 apartments next to the River Soar in Bath Lane, Leicester.
And it is involved in the £85 million Ashton Green scheme near Beaumont Leys.
